In Ars Longa we believe that art conservators are “the workers of eternity”. The correct, impeccable and detailed restoration of artworks is of vital significance for their longevity and, in fact, what makes “ars longa”.
We are a team of educated, skilled and experienced professionals. We love art, we love art conservation and we approach each work of art with caution and respect for it and its creator. We connect with them and their history, so it can be deservingly reflected in their future.
Our lab is highly equipped technologically, we only use top quality ingredients for every procedure and have restored paintings and wall paintings by famous Greek and foreign artists.
The “soul” of Ars Longa is Iliana Palogou. She has professional experience of 17 years, working, apart from the lab, in monuments of cultural heritage, byzantine temples, churches and historical buildings all over Greece. Having completed studies and postgraduate courses in art conservation, in Greece and abroad, she is a committed and consistent professional, always focused on the perfect result.
